Soy Wax vs Paraffin Wax

Some of you may not be very familiar with the differences between Soy Wax and Paraffin Wax. This blog will give you important information regarding both, so that next time you go to buy some candles or wax melts you know exactly what you are buying and paying for.

Paraffin wax is derived from petroleum, coal or shale oil. It’s safe to say that about 85-90% of store-bought candles are made out of paraffin wax. That means every time you light up a candle made of paraffin wax, you are inhaling a bunch lot of chemicals and toxic fumes, including toluene and benzene which contain carcinogens and are also linked to problems with asthma. Not to get you guys scared…. But are those the kind of candles you want to have in your home???? I don’t think so!!!!!

On the other hand, Soy Wax is a vegetable wax derived from soybean oil. It is all natural and a 100% Non-Toxic!!! Isn’t that great. Also, candles made of Soy Wax tend to last about 30-50% longer and are biodegradable.

When you buy a Soy Wax Candle, you are paying not only for the eco-friendly and natural product, but also for a safe and non-toxic product.

You guys, Soy Wax Candles is the way to go!!!!
